ENABLE Scotland’s vision is for an equal society for every person who has a learning disability. The charity was founded in 1954 by five sets of parents of children who had a learning disability, and who were determined that their children should have the same rights as everyone else. This is what we still believe and campaign for today.
As the leading member-led campaigning charity in Scotland, ENABLE Scotland members are the voice of the organisation. We listen to them and act on the issues they think are most important.www.enable.org.uk
